Tasting notes: Juicy, grapefruit, persimmon
Norbil Perez is a farmer and a member of the Aromas Del Valle Cooperative in Cajamarca. Norbil is part of the cooperative’s micro-lot program. For the lots to qualify for micro-lot program they have to cup above 87 points. This cooperative is engaged in a producer-led reforestation program that addresses the complex sustainability challenges they face. Aromas Del Valle incentivises its members by paying premiums for cup quality and implementing social programs for education, reforestation programs and micro Finance to their members. The coffee is depulped, wet fermented in bags for 1-2 days, then sun-dried.
