Complex and juicy coffee with notes of blueberry, chocolate and tropical fruits
This coffee was prepared at the Tulise Washing Station located at 2100 meters at Tulise Kebele in Gedeb Woreda. The Tulise Washing Station employs 10 full-time staff and 30-40 additional staff during harvest season. The coffee in this region grows under native shade trees and the cherries are hand picked. After the cherries arrive at the Washing Station, they are milled, washed and dried on raised beds in the sun for around 12-15 days. During the hottest part of the day, the drying beans are covered to conserve moisture, and at night they are also covered to protect them from the rain.
